OCEAN SOLE
One thing we would recommend to everyone going to Nairobi Kenya would be to check out Ocean Sole! Even most of the locals didn't know about this place! The company goes around and collects all of the flip flops out of the ocean and off the beaches and recycles them into art work. We learned about it off facebook years prior to going. It was something my sister always wanted to go and check out, she loved odd art work. So since our Africa trip was in her memory we had to make sure we did not miss it! We arrived close to the time they would be closing but we still got a tour around the factory and to see how they made all of these amazing pieces. We bought quite a few things from them as well to help them!

For dinner after our last safari we went to the Carnivore on our way back into town. This restaurant is a complete meat buffet! They come around with meat on skewers and give you shavings of things to try. We were very skeptical of trying the ox balls but they ended up being one of our favorite ones! Everything was really good we did also really like the ostrich meat balls and the crocodile. All of these are specialty meats that they may not have at all times, but all of the other things they had was really good too they give you a sauce platter to go with all the meats they give you and tell you what ones will be best with the different ones. They will continue to bring you meat skewer after skewer until you put down your flag (that is in the center of your table) in surrendering defeat!
